Durness Zipline

You would be 37 metres high from a coastal cliff, and flying across one of the most stunning beaches in Scotland, with breathtaking views and exposure to the beauty that the highlands have to offer. 

To get to the Durness Zipline, you will need to travel 2.5 metres north from Durness, next to the A838. This is not a long route and is easily accessible for those who are staying with North Coast 500 Pods, or who are travelling along the NC500 route. 

It is at an affordable price, being £13 per person, and £20 for two, perfect for the family. You would be travelling at 40MPH, a speedy rate, giving you the feeling that you’re flying across the coast of the highlands. 

The name of the zipline company is Golden Eagle Ziplines, originating from the Golden Eagle that is present in the area of Scotland. The highlands of Scotland is the only area in which the Golden Eagle exists, with them being a wild bird. They are majestic, and are hunting birds, and have had an impact across Scotland, hence the name.
