We offer both dog friendly and dog free pods at both our sites, which you will be able to select at time of booking. 

We have two sites, one at Achmelvich Bay IV27 4JB  and one at Brora KW9 6NH.

Our pods have all essential appliances and utensils along with fresh towels and bedding, an en-suite, a kitchen with oven and hob, WiFi, smart TV, Amazon Alexa and Philips Hue. Each standard pod contains a double bed and a convertible double sofa bed. Our Honeymoon Suite at Brora has a bit more luxury with a double bed and spacious interior. During summer we welcome check-ins on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for a minimum stay of 3 nights. During winter we welcome check-in throughout the week. 

Our check-in time is 3pm and check-out is 10am on your day of departure. 

During our high season, April – September, we operate a 3-night minimum policy due to housekeeping requirements. During the Christmas and New Years period we offer strict 4 night minimum stays to allow our staff ample time for turnover of pods

We operate on a 3 x night minimum stay during our peak seasons, and provide 1 or 2 night stays when there is availability.  1 or 2 night stays will not be offered when there is space for a 3 night stay.

Both Achmelvich  and Brora have a wealth of activities close by – from castle visits to hiking, there is plenty to keep you and your family occupied during your stay. 

Unfortunately we do not provide cots for babies so all adults travelling with very young children are advised to bring a travel cot with them.

Yes we welcome groups. We would recommend 2 adults per pod for comfort and space. However, each pod can sleep 4 with the exception of the Honeymoon Suite at Brora which is limited to 2. We can welcome groups of up to 16 people at any one time at our Achmelvich site or 14 at a time at Brora. It should be noted that groups will not be permitted for stag & hen or other party events.

Yes, all of our pods come fully equipped with bedding and towels. These towels are for use in the pods only so beach towels would need to be supplied by guests. 

We have a large decking area with a barbecue and fire pit (Achmelvich) for guests to make use of. You can join up with the rest of your party at the communal area or make friends with your new neighbours.

Our standard pods have a double bed and a sofa bed each so can sleep 4 adults, though we would recommend 2 adults and 2 children for comfort and space. 

Our Honeymoon suite has a larger double bed and sleeps 2. 

There are small convenience stores nearby and supermarkets, shops, pubs & restaurants at the nearest town to each of our sites. 

The size and design of the pods do not lend themselves to being wheelchair accessible unfortunately.

Yes, the site at Achmelvich is less than 5 minutes away from the beach.

Due to the remote nature of the North Coast 500 route, we would recommend accessing the pods by car for Achmlevich. Brora has a train station in the town centre, so a combination of train/taxi would allow access without private car use.
