About Us
North Coast 500 Pods was born from the vision of providing a unique, contemporary accommodation experience to enjoy whilst travelling the North Coast 500 Route.
By introducing hotel-quality glamping pods in the most rural areas of the country, North Coast 500 Pods are revolutionising accommodation for travellers along the world-famous route.
Of course, none of this would be possible without the incredible North Coast 500 Pods team. Their passion has been the cornerstone of our company’s success and facilitates the ever-increasing popularity of our glamping sites.

Meet The Team
Christine is the face of our fabulous NC500 Pods glamping sites.
Christine is always on hand to work with the team to ensure our pods and the surrounding grounds are kept to the highest standard.
Christine overseas everything from reservations, to cleaning the pods and arranging maintenance/ground works.
Christine will be sure to check in with you during your stay to ensure you have everything you need and may even share a tale or two.

Christine
Christine takes care of our NC500pods Brora site. Christine loves the beautiful walkways and cycle routes that surround the area.
Christine recommends Carol Rock chimneys that overlook Brora Loch. Take note, some of these trails are on the steep side and can be a challenge to the novice hiker.
Roles
Ali & Calum have been travelling to the beautiful Achmelvich for as long as either of them can remember.
After witnessing a surge in popularity of the North Coast 500 route over the years, they saw an opportunity to improve the experience to revellers of Achmelvich Beach. The spot they have loved for so long could be considerably improved with the introduction of high-quality accommodation options, as with other rural areas along the North Coast 500.
The beloved North Coast 500 Pods glamping sites were born.

Alister Young
As the NC500Pods site at Achmelvich grew in popularity, Ali & Calum saw the opportunity for expansion and to create more fantastic glamping sites for people to visit. The second NC500Pods site opened in Brora in July 2020. Although opening the site during a Global Pandemic was not an easy move, Brora is proving to be a popular destination for guests on the NC500 route in 2021.

Calum MacLeod
Ali & Calum created the NC500Pods with the purpose of allowing holidaymakers to create unique experiences. The Pods are fitted out to the level of a luxury hotel room so that guests can focus on making memories without sacrificing creature comforts.
